Qing Dao was formed in 1995 by Frances Roper, who had been living and working in Hong Kong for over 8 years. With many years sourcing and merchandising experience in China, along with a keen appreciation of 'Oriental style' ... it made the creation of Qing Dao an irresistible proposition.
Origins
The origins of the business began with sourcing a wide selection of Chinese Antiques, all unique, interesting and beautiful. Our reputation grew and we now count many high profile, lifestyle Retailers, Interior Designers and well known celebrities amongst our client base.
Colour Revival is a unique concept developed by Qing Dao. Old Cabinets bought stunningly up to date with a very glamorous make over both inside and out.
QD Design
We have continued to move with the times and QD Design has designed in-house a number of Collections ... Yin Yang, Concept and Mantra. All inspired by the East and designed in the West. High quality, contemporary Oriental furniture suitable for residential, hotel, serviced apartments and show house projects.
Funkiental ... is another inspired idea from QD Design which continues to push the boundaries of design, colour and quality.
Our aim and objective is to create and leave a legacy of furniture which takes Oriental style to the next level.
